Bicycle Ride

Thomas loves riding his bike, and since the weather here in Arizona has been so delightful and pleasant here's a quick video of our most recent ride.

Turkey Hike

On Thanksgiving morning we all went on a hike with Auntie Laura and Uncle Ernesto. We hiked pinnacle peak in Scottsdale.

Laura & Ernesto's Wedding

Back on November 10th, Thomas' Auntie Laura married Uncle Ernesto; and yes, Thomas was asked to be the ring bearer. And, what's a good wedding without an excellent reception!

My parents flew into town last weekend for Auntie Laura's wedding, and here's a cute video of Thomas playing with some cars from Grandpa and Teta.

Maryland in October

Two weekends ago we flew out to Maryland for a wedding and my Dad's 60th birthday. While we were on the East coast we saw a lot of friends and family and were able to take a ton of pictures. Are you ready for some football?

Sports Camp

Last week, Thomas attended sports camp. It was only an hour a day but each day the kids worked on different skills, baseball, soccer, football, etc. Here are several short videos from the camp, some clips show a sport but others just show some exercises and warm up activities.

South Carolina Vacation

        During this last week we travelled on 4 airplanes, rode in cars and carriages and we even took a taxi. Those were some highlights, as well as visiting Allison and Jack (Thomas' Aunt and Uncle), who have been living in Beaufort SC this last year. While we were in the south Grandpa and Teta flew down to spend time with us too, and we went to the beach and an aquarium and had loads of great family time together. Busy Bee

This past Saturday was a busy day for the Ash family. Thomas started at a soccer camp, then went to Sebastian's birthday party, then went to Lil'D's birthday party. When we arrived home in the afternoon we were spent! Here's a video of some of the action.

Dancing and Oma

Here are a couple videos from the month of May. One is Thomas "break-dancing" to one of his favorite songs (he loves top 40 stuff). The other video is Thomas singing and blowing out candles for Oma's birthday.

Mommy is a Smarty

Last weekend was very special here at our house because Jenn completed her Master's program from ASU. She now has an educational degree in post-secondary and higher ed. What this means is that she knows how to work with students in college and universities (unlike me who can only handle the elementary group). Here is one picture from after Jenn's ceremony. And yes, we are very proud of her hard work and acheivment!

I Found You

More This and Some That

I'm looking through my phone at several pictures and videos and thought I should share them with all the wonderful blog readers. This first video was when Thomas, Mommy and I went to a birthday party for Thomas' friend. It was at the park and it was fun times. Here are several pictures from a car show. The car show was happening outside of the science museum, so along with car photos you can also see some museum photos.

This and That

There have been several videos I've taken, but haven't posted yet, these 1st two are of Thomas at swim lesson. You will notice my wonderfully talented cousin Kelsey as the instructor, and Thomas has been enjoying swimming more and more each week- thanks Kelsey. Here in the next few videos, you can see Thomas riding his new bike. One of the big birthday presents this past week was a "big-boy" bicycle, and he seems to be doing fine. And last, but not least is a short video from Thomas' birthday party. After Thomas and several other children, then adults had taken swings at a pinata, it was Rachel's turn. This video shows Rachel destroying the pinata and laughing with the rest of us, enjoy.

Cake and Presents

This past Saturday we had some friends, and family to the house for Thomas' birthday party. In case you didn't attend it was a very fun, but intimate event. Jenn was able to hire a firetruck to come, and that was cool to drive and play with. We also had a pinata which is some sort of "Mexican" thing. We ate lots of food, and had tons of fun. Here is a video of Thomas blowing out the candles, and I'll see if I can inclue other photos too. Photo Album Over all the party was terrific and we love how much Thomas is growing and becoming a big boy.

Basketball Lock-Out is Over

A lot of fans have been screaming and yelling about wanting to see basketball, and since it's been resumed everyone is getting into their dribble-fake-shot!

Here are two videos of Thomas using a little basketball hoop on his door. The first video is longer and he never makes a shot. The second is shorter and you see him make a basket.

Christmas Vacation

Happy New Year! It is 2012, and here are pictures and videos from our vacation to Colorado. My grandparents, Don and Dorothy live in Colorado and while there we also got to see my parents, Dave and Nona, and my sister and her husband, Allison and Jack.  Here are photos from the trip.
